Current Account: Future Transactions

This section provides details of transactions that include charges with a due date after the current billing period, for example, Registration fees, PACE charges, deferred payments, or, as in the example below, Housing charges.

It also shows credits designated for use at a future date or restricted to a particular type of charge (credits that can pay only housing charges, for example). These may be either refundable or non-refundable at the option of the payer. Please note that even though a charge was posted as a future, it may already have been paid when you review your account—always verify the remaining balance and your amount due shown in the account summary.

For example, a parent may wish to pre-pay a whole year's expenses with a non-refundable deposit. The credit remains on the account for future use until new charges are posted or a due date within the current billing period, whereupon the portion necessary to pay the fee is applied. The credit balance will remain on the account until more new charges appear on the account.
