Checks Help: Where will I find the routing/transit number for my checking account?

Encoded at the bottom of your check is a 9-digit routing number and your account number which may be 4-10 characters.  Your check number may also be encoded, but do not enter this as part of the account number. The account number may show as a single set of numbers (example 1 and 2) or as two sets of numbers (example 3 used by the Bank of America).  Please find the example below that most closely matches your check to identify your routing number and account number.  You may also want to refer to your monthly bank statement to verify your account number.
